I'm sure she'll get the Scottish vote and the tennis vote - hope she does it.
Bad bad idea - if it's not an early April Fool - she gets enough stick from the tabloids as it is without opening up a new front in the war.

So she should go for it and tell the tabloids where to stick it.  If she can send herself up, then it leaves little scope for the twats who do it for her.

I think it would give her a great chance to let everyone see what a fun person she is - I definitely hope she goes for it  Sock it to them Judy!

Judy was mentioned on Michael McIntyre's chat show last night when Michael and James Corden played Send to All, where they swapped phones and sent a text to everyone in their contacts and see who replies. The text was asking whether the people wanted to go lap dancing or not and Judy replied back to Michael asking who he was. Michael then took the mick out of Judy for a bit about how it would be to go lap dancing with Judy and Anton du Beke, another celeb who replied.

It would be a huge risk.  On one hand, it could be the opportunity to finally get across to the general public that she does have a job in tennis other than sitting in Andy's box.  On the other hand, she'd be getting the gig because she's Andy's mum, not because she's Fed Cup Captain, so it simultaneously undermines that message.  If she was confident of staying in a reasonable number of weeks, it's likely to pay off.  If she goes out early, it would be another stick to beat her with.

Personally, I think more and more people are getting to know and like Judy for who she is, and what she's achieved other than giving birth, and I think it would be better for her to keep on doing what she's currently doing media-wise for the time being.  Perhaps she could do it in another couple of years time when she's built up more of a reputation for her own day job?   This all assumes she's got the time.

Judy was visiting blackwood primary in south Lanarkshire today. They are obviously into their tennis and Andy as you can see from the pics.  Judy later tweeted that she loved the "umpire" biscuits they had made Very Happy

Nice.  Smile

I've read that Shirley is there every Saturday morning doing the teas.  She also helps out in the local museum. Very Happy
