I dare to hope & think it should be a summit as high as Novak's, but if it was somehow higher!!
Say by the end of a Lendl process.
The reality of that is that we might be looking at the best player of the era and a period of heavy dominance.
But we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves now should we pray

Me too though I agree we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves.  But given how Andy was playing before he even started with Mr L and given the impact Mr L is already appearing to have before they'd even done a proper training block together, it does feel as if we are light years away from where we were this time last year.
Don't worry Aileen the first slip from Andy (and we have to accept these may occur) the naysayers will crawl out from under their stones.   w00t

Oh so do I, I am starting to nervous just thinking about it, there was a write up from John Lloyd today, and even he thinks Andy will do it.

LLoyd also said that he didn't think he would ever be on Andy's dinner party list nor did he think Andy would be on his!

I have read it again and I am sorry it was a bit misleading when I said Lloyd thinks he will win a slam ? not so sure he does.

The above three players have hit their summit, Novak can stay there for a while the other two have declined if only slightly because they have been overtaken by Novak.
Andy is still on the assent not yet reaching his summit. The question is will it be higher than Novak's???

The way Novak keeps punishing his body I can see burn-out beckoning in a year or two.  Last year he was a physical wreck by the end of the USO (right shoulder problem, torn muscle in his back which he aggravated a week later playing DC) and was unable to play for the rest of the season, apart from a poor showing at the WTF.  Also he's got a huge task in front of him defending all these ranking points, and he knows it, which is why he got so nervous at the AO.  As for Rafa and Roger - Rafa's another whose body is wrecked whilst Roger certainly isn't the player he used to be.  The one player who could possibly challenge Andy in the future is Del Potro, provided he can stay healthy and get back the form that won him the 2009 USO.
