It's really stupid it's hers - she's at uni, pets are normally not allowed in halls of residence or lecture rooms! So actually Maggie probably lives with her parents in 'normal' times (i.e. when Andy's jetsetting and Kim is studying).

It's Kim's dog.

It is her dog, by the way, not Andy's; an early 21st birthday present from her parents. Andy did not name the border terrier either. When told she had been christened Maggie May, his immediate response was: "What a stupid name."

Regarding that article, doesn't Andy have an unfortunate habit of sticking things in his pockets before having pictures taken... remember iPod-gate...

According to this article, Murray's PR guy told him to get a dog. Wise move but that would suggest the whole Maggie business was a PR stunt Frown

Huh? It's Kim's dog. Andy has said on more than one occasion that it's Kim's, not his.

Sure but that doesn't mean the article is wrong... Higgins tells Murray to get a dog, Murray gets a dog and Kim takes ownership for obvious reasons - she has the time to look after it.

Just read the article. Looks like a load of nonsense. Nothing to back it up whatsoever. Add to that the fact that it's not even Andy's dog and that piece looks like complete nonsense.

Does Murray even seem like the type of guy who would get a dog to help his image?

That's just your typical PR guy though, when Murray chose to hire Stuart Higgins he would have surely known he would be advised to do things that he wouldn't do otherwise. He got Higgins to change his image, so that means doing things he wouldn't do normally to look different.

I love that you put so much faith in the Daily Mail, a paper with a reputation on a par with The Sun.

No one has ever heard of this story. It has never once been mentioned and all of a sudden the Daily Mail comes out and says that Stuart Higgins advised Murray to get a dog. It's out of nowhere and isn't backed up in any way.
