If all the top 8 seeds make it to the QFs, then that round is going to be very interesting! Andy to be in Roddick's quarter please!
I'd be pretty nervous if he were in with Tsonga, Simon or Delpy!

Woo-Hoo!!! Best 2 weeks of the year
2 weeks of tennis in my own time zone with 2 weeks off work to watch it all unfold in front of my eyes.
No final ticket this year so as sure as eggs are eggs Andy will be in it.

I see Gasquet beat Tsonga, maybe this is the year he finally shows his potential at a slam?

The way Monfils is playing on Doha today, he could be another Frenchman in contention. No doubt I will be getting up in the early hours to watch Andy play. I've never forgotten his match with Nadal a couple of years ago - their matches are always some of the best we see I feel. I've spent two month long holidays in Aussie, but have never visited Melbourne - perhaps we could do the south east section on our next visit - I have a brother in Margaret River, WA so we'd have to end up there. Loved Sydney and the Barrier Reef - super country.

I love the AO, its mu 2nd favourite after SW19. Waking up in the early hours to a peaceful house with no Mum in my ear, watching tennis in the sunshine (god im sad) and one thing i like is the crowd is always near enough full unlike the US or Paris.

Was just about to post that, quite frightening, I feel Djokovic/Nadal are the men to beat.

I think it's cos Rog and Ralf's odds have lengthened along with Nole due to them being rubbish in the last week or so
Also Muzz will be getting backed heavily. If he wins the bookies will lose a fortune

You could be right elly - all the hyp that goes with his win today will not be good. In Aussie he will have Tsonga, Gasquet, et al - the up and coming players who will also be contenders - it might not all go Andy's way but I'm sure he'll cope. He may lose the Aussie and then, when everyone has stopped making predictions and forgets a little, he'll come up from behind and take the day. Whenever it is, he will win at least one Grand Slam in the not too distant future.

I'm at the stage that I'm scared to predict tbh....... his tennis now is quite scary..... he's gone beyond my predictions as far as I'm concerned. He has the game - absolutely no doubt about it - to beat the best in the world.... the rest now is inside his head.... a place where none of us can go.....
