Why has he gone back to doing doubles? Didn't he give it up for a while and he was absolutely fine? Ah well Frown

I think it was to give him more time on a competitive match court.

As long as he sees it as insignicant then it's not so bad but if he gets emotionally involved then I don't think it's good.

As long as he sees it as insignicant then it's not so bad but if he gets emotionally involved then I don't think it's good.


I don't think that he's ever seen doubles as anything more than an opportunity to get extra match time - though that must be a little disappointing to his doubles specialist partners! I agree that taking it too seriously would get in the way of his singles ambitions.

It's probably to help Ross out given he did the whole training camp with him over the off-season.  I'm pretty sure he'll want to win though.

I'm not so sure the doubles partners are disappointed: without him they wouldn't get entry at that level at all... so I'm sure for that alone, as well as the possibility to be around better players which inevitably motivates and teaches by example, they are grateful...
