That's fabulous. He's so guarded it's a shame! He seems really quite quiet and shy and understated. Says all he needs to on court. Love it!

Hug rape (Stalina, 2010).

Shame they made a mistake and said that Murray hadn't beaten Federer and Nadal when it mattered, at a grand slam. US Open 08, anyone?

Thanks Joe.
A very enjoyable read although Andy seems very guarded. It is nice to see that Andy is a loyal person, staying 3.5 years with Kim.

If it's 3.5 to date then that probably means Andy has been going out with Kim the same amount of time as I have with Cate and started at around the same time AND this is both our first relationship. Spooky!

Congratulations Mark. This bodes well for the future. Now if your earning potential also matches up to that of Andy then you will be flying

Joe, I noticed you commented on
this article from The Times
today
It is a shame the English thing managed to get a mention as usual but at least that article overall was positive of Andy. It is true, we should ignore how Andy was as a teen because that's when you are at your worst, instead we should judge him as he is now and it's all good from what I can see!

Someone commented on the bottom, 'When he wins it for Britain, because he's 100% proud to be British...actually he probably just wins it for Andy!'

It was just a lazy comment for the writer to make. He makes out that Andy had a real grudge against the English, when in fact I don't think I've ever seen anything to suggest it. No idea why the media come out with these things and create such an issue of the Scottish/English/British thing. I'd expect better from the Times really.

There are a bunch of articles currently doing the rounds about Murray criticising Federer. Each article seems to have a different take on Andy's comments, though.
For some reason most of them have diappeared from google news.

Seen a bit about this around the place - story out of nothing, really. He's hardly criticised Fed, just said that Fed has spoken negatively about him after losses. Nothing untrue or unreasonable there.

Bear in mind it's a Thunderer article, not a sports pages item - it is intended as a sideways glance at something rather than editorial comment...
The whole issue will be null and void once Andy wins Wimbledon anyway
