Both the commentators were talking boll**ks at the end, don't know the other guys name, so Lloyd took the hit.

Bailey was annoying me by the end I must admit. Didn't think Lloyd was that bad...

*sigh* Damn it I would really like to hate Federer but his little, too good of a player, comment seemed rather sincere.

I know. But it's all too easy to be nice about guys when you beat them. That's why we all thought he was lovely when he was winning all the time. Shown his true colours with his comments about Andy in days gone by...

TBH, I thought it was pretty insincere. Just a little throwaway line. He got all the sympathy last year when he bawled in Nadal's victory ceremony so you'd think he might have been understanding of it this time around. Instead, he gave it the big 'I am the King' as usual, waving the trophy around and generally being smug in his victory speech.
Yet again, he shows himself to be inferior to Nadal, the other big gun over the last few years, in both winning and losing.

Clever Federer is just trying to get back on U.K.side after 150,000 year remark.

Yes. Last year, even though Nadal won it for the first time and should have been elated, he deliberately toned down his celebration to almost nothing in sympathy for Roger's tears.

Fine. I will try and hate him. And I hadn't considered that he was trying to get back on my good side... And damn it I fell for it!

I am not a fan of Federer at all, in fact the opposite but I didnt find him smug at the ceremony at all. Nadal last year was so sweet to Fed, but they are friends and Rafa genuinely felt for Fed.
I can hardly see Fed embracing Murray like that thats not their relationship, and I doubt Murray would want that. It would be seen as patronising to me. I think both players came across well in the ceremony. And Andy has won so much respect from people around the world. When he wins a grand slam oh my how sweet it will be. (especially if against Fed!!!)

The mental image of Federer trying to hug Murray ends with a swift kick to the nuts.
