Must say, Jokers last 2 matches have been against players where the pace and trajectory of the ball is EXACTLY the same for every single shot
Exactly - both Delpo and Ferrer have played Djoko just as he likes to be played. Andy just won't do that.

TMH, I was thinking the same. Having just watched the semi, I felt sorry for David. Everything he can do, Nole can do better. And David had no plan B.
Andy will have plan C, D and E.
And Ivan has told him to go out and "have fun." Excellent advice because we all know the kind of tennis Andy can bring when he is feeling relaxed and confident. Also, pressure nowhere near Wimbledon final and Nole is the favourite.
Oddly optimistic...eek

I'm going to say a Novena and cross my fingers and toes for the next 24 hours. I feel it is Andy's time and he deserves it but life isn't fair and not always does the deserved receive the prize;this is what unnerves me. However this time he has Lendl on his side and in his mind: Andy also knows now what it is to go right to the wire now after the Olympic Gold. Win Andy Win!!!

Strangely I feel far less stressed about this than I have been about any other match in this tournament. I was almost descending into complete mental breakdown yesterday. I think it's because I believe that finally he believes he can do this. I don't think he trully believed that until he had his Olympic Gold in his little paw.
He might not do it tomorrow, but equally he might. If he doesn't then next year he will make the final leap. Either way two GS finals and an Olympic Gold is more than Fed, NJ or Nadal have achieved this year.

I feel really positive when I think of how well Andy beat Nole in the Oympics...then I feel sick because there's no doubt that he'll want to-get revenge is the wrong way to put it,but he'll certainly want to settle that score.Ugh.I kind of wish I could just close my eyes and fast forward to the end of the final. And preferably see Andy celebrating a resounding win.

Andy won't be giving any of the same consistent balls that Delpo and Ferrer fed him. I haven't seen the conclusion of today's SF between NJ & DF but Ferrer has played a tough 5 setter against Tipsy and the mental come down from yesterday of having the match abandoned when he was in such great position must have taken its toll. He is also 30 so this must have been a factor too.

You posted this before GSM in the other semi?
Can't predict this one, don't have a gut feeling whatsoever.
Nope. I was following the scoreboard and once it had Nole as the winner, only then I opened it. But I had this prepared, true, but I left the other player's name blank until the match was over. Therefore, I beat you. Take that!

Oh gawd. I feel sick already. Soooo close.......
It's going to be one hell of a match. I always said the future was Murray/Djokovic, but now it is the present.
So have I Scotnadian, ever since they came on he pro scene almost together I have felt that one day they would vie for No. 1&2 abd now, maybe, it is here. Andy and Lendl are working well together, now may not be quite the time but sometime very soon it will be. The pundits forcast now, I've been reading articles all day, but we shall see. All I know is that Andy's game is changing and for the better. That dreadful wind and Berdych, he still came through and Novak - he beat him in the Olympics, he can do it again. Whether he will this time I don't know - 'they' say he can but we must wait and see. Novak complained about the wind - Andy just got on with it, character can do wonders for the phsyche, maybe we will be very pleasantly surprised.

On another thread I read that in the Olympic Stadium the was loud applause for Andy's win and that the song played was Queens 'Don't stop me now' - couldn't pick a better one and I hope so much that he is unstoppable. Can he really do it, Sir Panda - you've been here longer than I have even if you are only 21 and you talk sense, I want him so much to win.

I'm really pissed about at the amount of Nole tards and folk writing of Muzz. already. A ball hasn't been hit yet.

Im going to stick with my original prediction Andy in 4 or 5.I just feel that this is his time,he's got so much variety in his game, and i think he'll put it to good use.It will be tough because Novaks playing really well and he really wants this as well.Especially after not wining a medal at the olympics. He was so mad at not wining a medal when he got back to the locker room he cut up his raquet. So he really really wants this. But Andy really really wants it as well.
