The H2H is...VERY inspiring. I feel my eyes are stuck.
Oh dear. 4am in my country but fortunately I asked for the morning off. I'm equal parts nervous and excited. Hoping like hell Andy will win but if he won't, then I am still so proud of him (Olympics gold medalist!).

Looks like the forecast is clear and the humidity will only be something like 40-50%.
If he performs like he did in the Australian Open semi-final, he's got a definite chance. Apart from the fourth set, of course.

Lol Sir Panda. Am hoping the lull is in the third and the fourth is simply a Murray formality.

I am nervous about this match but think that a) Nole has not been turly tested yet(Ferrer was easier thsn expected), Andy is in a better place than before and Nole has definitely not had as good a season as we would expect. so far.
I agree with Masaka, even if he does not win this we should as Britains be extremely proud of our boy and hopefully the country will 'behave'. He has achieved so much this year and I personally did not expect so much so soon after Lendl came on board.
GOOD LUCK ANDY ALTHOUGH YOUR TALENT AND ARSENAL OF SHOTS SHOULD GET YOU THROUGH!!!

I'm thinking that a bit of wind wouldn't go amiss

That H2H is very promising. With the knowledge, and confidence gained from the Olympic caper, I think he has a great chance. He fought so well at the AO this year, and that was after about 2 weeks with Lendl. Now 8 months on, the pair of them have been relentlessly moving forward. Let's also not forget that ND has lost the FO final this year, and the Olympic and Wimbledon SF's. He is not invincible. The match against Ferrer was always going to end as it did. With the greatest of respect to Ferrer he has never reached a GS final, and has suffered 3 straight sets defeats in the 3 Masters 1000 finals he has reached. A Murray/ND final is a radically different ball game. I think we should relect on the fact that whilst he may lose, if he wins nobody with any tennis knowledge is going to be reporting it as a great upset. If we could have the Olympic Murray tonight most of us would really appreciate it. Go lad, go.

Not surprised Novak is shorter odds, he's won 5 of these things after all.
