So, after the emotional roller coaster of the last two days, we can now take the positives from what was a really good two week tourney for our man. So I was thinking what is your wish list for the remainder of 2012? This is mine:-

* Firstly to be healthy and happy as both lead to confidence which in turn lead to success

* A placing i.e. Medal at the Olympics, doubles would be good as Andy gets such a kick out of doing well with and for Jamie

* A good build up to the USO successfully defending or bettering his points from last year.

* Winning the USO, preferably beating Fed 6-1, 6-2, 6-2!!!

* Qualifying for the O2 then winning it and securing his place in the heart of the British Nation.

Finally, I just want to see him get his rightful place at the top with the best....

I wish

1.WINS US OPEN

2.. He has a great 5-10 days off with Kim, his dogs and his family.
3. He stays positive and injury-free
4. Wins a masters in USO series
5. Wins US Open
6. Has a decent indoor season
7. Straight-sets Fed at the 02 in front of the Brit fans!
8. Win the 02...but might be asking too much!
9. Wins US open
10. Ends up world no 2 or3
11. WINS US OPEN

Have belief in himself
Take confidence from his Wimbledon achievement
Continue to enjoy playing the beautiful game
Stay injury free
Have the courage to change
Have belief in himself

* Consistent results in his remaining tournaments this year
* Win at least two Masters titles
* Keep on improving the serve and forehand and trial these improvements in the lesser tournaments
* Get victories over Novak, Fed and Rafa - a major step forward would be a victory against one of them at the USO, even if he doesn't end up winning the tournament
* Take time off if necessary to fully recover from his back injury
* A win at the USO would be great, but I think it might still be too soon - AO 2013 may be the one though

I also wish he would have more self confidence . He needs to just believe he can beat them on any given day .

I like this thread, and as a newbie I have to say I like it here. I might even get addicted!

My hopes for Andy for the rest of the year are

1. Get rid of the back problem for definite.
2. Thrash Smugfed at the US Open, preferably in straights. 6-2 6-1 6-0 would be a laugh!
3. In the event of playing Fed at the US or any remaining tourney in 2012 I hope he has him where he inadvertently had Tsonga with a ball, or that he aims for him again (as he did in the final when Fed ducked) and hits him, preferably hard and with no apology - I'm not usually so unsporting, honest!
4. Win the US - that would shake things up a bit, and I did pick Andy for it ages ago.
5. A successful defence of his points from the Asia run from last year
6. Another Masters or two
7. Qualification for the World Tour finals
8. An Olympic medal, preferably gold (beating Fed in the final!) in the singles
9. A medal in the Olympic doubles with Jamie. Gold would be brill! I would cry!
10. A great performance at the World Tour Finals - how about a golden set against Fed. Go on Andy!
11. Continued happiness with the lovely Kim, who is so gorgeous it makes me green with envy!
12. A great indoor season
13. For the end of this year, beginning of next, excellent prep for the AO, where he goes on to win, don't mind over Fed or Djok. That would put some ghosts to bed.

Not much to add really as you've all said it all. But at least one of an olympics medal (preferably gold); USO or end of year tour finals winner. Of course would be great if he could achieve all three but one step at a time. Apart from that I hope he sorts out his back and otherwise stays injury free and that his tennis goes from strength to strength and he continues to look comfortable in his skin on court like he did at Wimbledon.

Andy to get into at least a second grand slam final this year.
Winning it at the US, always was his best chance away from the home pressure pot!
An Olympic medal would be good too.
O2 final and win.
Then he might even pick up the BBC SPOTY!
