Wonder if Fed will pull out of Paris. He's said he might.
Does he lose points if he pulls out??

I was really worried for JM in the third, thought that Smugfed would again prevail. But now my wishes have been heard!!! well done.

I said last week that Fed loses top spot if he didn't win regain his Basel title but I completely forgot that Djokovic was defending 180 points too, so apologies.
The gap is down to 175 now.

He's defending 1000 points, and 1500 at WTF.

I hope he does, the loss of his Fed500 will really hurt him tonight, wonder how many tears he'll shed.

There's been a lot of rumours swirling about whether or not he will.
He can't be happy about his draw.

So he directly loses all 1000 points if he pulls out of Paris?
Wow, that is brutal..
and it is obvious he isn't gonna win the WTF so he'll lose there too.
I am liking this!!

I didn't think DP would manage it either. Another sign of the decline of the Fed. I think he knows it as well. Out in the US Open semi, out on the Shanghai Semi, and lost the Olympic Final (to that scruffy Scot..!!!). I think I am going to enjoy the trophy ceremony. Fed's supporters need to get used to him losing (Mr I am going to get the singles gold in Rio . (He probably also believes in honest politicians and flying pigs as well).

Yep. Which is why I can't see him dropping out, especially not after today.
And it would be foolish to write Federer off at WTF. It is after all a tournament he's won, what, 5 times? We don't know what state Murray and Djokovic are in physically either.

Maybe Andy requested it be played in his absence.
