And I have to admit...Jamie Murray the unsung hero. Played well in both doubles matches and was awesome at the net.

i think if andy learns how to use it properly though then it helps him.didnt seem to do john macenroe much harm did it

Depends on your temperament. Borg was the IceMan on court and, (I digress  wub  wub ) absolutely drop dead gorgeous to boot.

Off court he tried to be a control freakbut was not in control of many aspects of his life. Wife beating, drugs, bankruptcy. It sounds a bit like dear Georgie Best, doesn't it?

Mac was the opposite. He was fun loving and happy off court, on court he was a study in victimisation...it was his stab at one upmanship, and as he had phenomenal talent, it worked. I watched it live a couple of times...he genimely felt every linesman and umpire at Wimbledon (and I'm sure at other tournies, no Sky then, so didn't watch much) was in a conspiracy to defrayd him.

But Borg stole my heart...as only later did I realise what a complete male chauvenistic pig he was in real life.

I really would rather have the openess of Andy than the buttoned up, always say the right thing, Tim.

Embarassed And this from a huge Henman supporter. I feel like I've committed adultery. But it's the way I feel.  Eh?

Just a note to self: all is saved in Aberdeen gallery until now Otherwise i'll forget.

As for the last photo - Andy looks like the man of the moment.  goodjob Would be nice if they could acknowledge Jamie a bit more.  =D>

I have read McEnroe's auto-biography. I enjoyed it immensely

But my mum said Jimmy Connors was a great player. Did you guys like him???

Yea, my dad was a fan of Connors, but i don't know the player at all.  confused

When talking about past tennis legends - i'm more into Borg.  =D>

Yep...McEnroe has a lot of good ideas to improve the game (they can be found at back of book)

He thinks there should be a 6 month tennis season, instead of all year round
