From the Times. "Playing for his home nation next month will be a spirited diversion from the work he needs to do to make sure he is in the best possible shape for a continued assault on the rankings in 2006. As such, he will take a wild card into Roger Federer’s home-town tournament in Basle the week after next, attempt to qualify for the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris and then round off his year in full tartan regalia." wouldn't it be amazing if the scottish team took the last sentence seriously and actually played in some kind of tartan attire. tartan shorts with a saltaire tshirt and a nessie hat anyone? edit: or even better - kilts!!! please please let the scottsih team play in kilts not that im following stereotypes at all....
