Acapulco 500 2014 R2: Andy Murray vs Joao Sousa

Reply

After a less than straight forward win over Spaniard Pablo Andujar, Andy will face Portugese up and comer Joao Sousa, who beat Adrian Mannarino in a tough three set match. Joao is ranked 44 in the world and has one career title to his name in Kuala Lumpur last year. Andy and Joao have met on one occasion before in the second round of the 2013 Australian Open, where the Scot prevailed in a straight forward straight sets match. Sousa has changed a lot since then, so this may prove more difficult.

Andy in two.

That will be good.  Sousa is not as good as Andujar is now.

I think Andy is fired up enough to win through a few rounds this time. He may go through to the final but I will take a round by round attitude.  Watched the last match again and he looked even better after the bad start this time. Shall look forward to 4.00am again!

I did also as a result of the fist pump at winning in R1 and I doubt if he wants a repeat of that first set or anything but a good win.

It showed how much winning through here meant to him!?

Good Luck Andy, win it in two so we all will get more sleep.  Here's to a wonderful match where the real Andy Murray shows up right from the beginning!!!

wave Good morning one-and-all, although not many members around atm., welcome to 4 guests.

Cant see that they've started yet on Cancha Central so a bit too early for us, however, Gulbis just beat Goffin in a 3rd set Tie brk.

Crazy mug shots on Bevs' H2H! Where'd she get 'em? lol
