Andy's 2013 clay court season

Quote

How much of the clay court season was Ivan present for last year? Also, is anyone else contemplating the thought that if Nole is out if MC through the injury he sustained in his DC match, then Andy could end up the top seed at a clay court tournament?

Ivan was there in Monte Carlo, wasn't he-but I don't remember his being there in Rome.He was at RG,of course.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Like Dani, I seem to remember Mr. L being at one of the clay tournaments other than RG, but I can't remember if it was MC or Rome.

I'm almost certain it was MC Teejay, but my memory isn't always the best,so apologies if I'm wrong!

More importantly do we know which clay court tournaments Mr L will be there for this year?

Thanks Angie but what a negative story, which is typical of bleacher about Andy.  Particularly dislike the insinuation that Andy focuses more on hard courts because more lucrative. And nowhere do they acknowledge that his patella problem makes it harder for him to move on clay like he needs to.
Also not everyone uses macho bravado in the way they say Andy should. Rafa for instance typically downplays his chances before any tournament. And Andy has a natural modesty, which is not tantamount to putting up a white flag.

It was MC.. when he debuted his Britney Spears 'haircut'. How could you forget, TJ? Very Happy

Lendl went to MC and was with him for 5 weeks last year, Ruthie.

I don't know, but maybe their schedule will be the same again. Shrug

Ohhh, that terrible haircut!!*shudders* I wasn't on MW at the time, but I can imagine the reactions on here-if they were anything like mine there must have been some strong opinions being expressed!!That was just dreadful.I sincerely hope Andy is never let near a clippers by himself again-and if he must, then please let him have learnt his lesson about checking the settings ahead of time...

Thanks for confirming that it was MC Linda-I was almost sure, but my memory is a bit terrible at times,so I always like to check these things! Yeah,I agree with you-seeing as they haven't released any details,I'm presuming for now that it'll be a similar thing to last year.

Wonder if Andy and Kim will bring the dogs along to France again?
