Andy is a late bloomer only in terms of getting hi first Slam (even that I don't  want to take into account since Andy had to deal with enormous amount of pressure from his country) but he did make his first GS appearance at age 21, something the likes of Dimitrov,. Raonic, Nisikori, Tomic have yet to do. In terms of overall performance, Andy is never a late bloomer. His first ATP title came at age 19 and he won his first Masters at age 21 and made the final of a Grand Slam on the same year as well.

I think the draw is on Saturday 4th.

It's a shockingly non user-friendly website.

I'm really missing Andy and will be glad to se him on court again. I just hope he's sorted himself out a bit and he can hang on in there with the pack at least to the quarter final. Yes, it's a lot to ask, but I wish.. Think

The official Madrid website is pathetic.

The ATP one is much better, although not up to date yet - http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/Tournaments/Madrid.aspx

The position is that the main draw starts playing on Sunday, 5 May, and, as my picks on the ATP World Tour Fantasy will be available on Friday afternoon BST, then it seems that the draw will probably take place on Friday morning (Madrid time), maybe 11 am or noon.

For a tournament that hypes itself up so much the website's a disgrace.

So maybe get to see Andy round about Tuesday then?
