Andy's book signing today at Picadilly

Quote

Can I ask all those with signed copies, are you insuring it?  Someone at work suggested doing that today as non personalised but signed copies are on ebay for £100 - I've not thought about it but to be honest it's something i could list but i still dont think the value is high enough?  If that makes sense

You'd have to be pretty desperate to sell something that cheaply that you put so much personal effort into getting and cherishing, eeyorebob.

i;m not planning on doing so obviously, just wondered if it was worth insuring against loss/damage etc seperately?

Hehehe - Yeah I did wonder if it was worth it, its currently in a "reporter" bag (think that's what they are called) and I've re-read the first chapter at lunch time today (after showing it off of course Very Happy )

can't imagine why someone would want to pay £100 for a copy signed for someone else.  Somehow I don't see burglars making for my copy of 77 as their primary target  Whistle

the one on ebay isnt signed to anyone specifically just his signature in the book (why would you do that if you didnt really want it yourself) - I have to add at this point, that it's NOT only Andy's I have.  I have a Fed cup shirt signed by all the ladies (including Judy) and some other tennis ones and some other sports and actors autographs too (on programms, postcards etc) - in fact of the Murrays I am only now missing Jamie LOL - I may have to think about adding the "collection" of autographs to my insurance but not sure how you'd "value"it?

Mine's wrapped carefully in cling film and filed away. I bought another copy to actually read. Sad, I know!

Doesn't matter to me what it might be worth. It is never for sale, not in my lifetime!

Unless he's gay, he wouldn't be jealous.

But I have calmed down on fawning over Serena, you should too.
