Great photo of Ross AngieB.  I'm betting that the Djoko/Delpo match was a bit more exciting than the Ferrer/Berdy contest the night before?

Hi AngieB.  This is good feedback for anyone planning to book tickets to any future world tour finals at the o2.  I had a great seat on Wednesday evening, but it was one of the most expensive ones - it came to about £70.  There are much cheaper seats, but I honestly doubt if I would bother.  The top tier seats "in the gods" were a long, long way from the action.  The arena almost looked like an indoor football stadium, it really is that big.

Mind you, if it was Andy playing, I'd take anything I could get!

I'm just back so will post more another day but our seats were in the top tier . Friday was row d and sat row n. Preferred the row d but both had v good views, wouldn't be put off buying them again. Esp as I can only go weekend and the y are back to doing semis sat and final sunday next year which will be more costly so prob need to be the high up seats.

My daughter bought me a signed copy of Andy's new book 77 in Waterstones, Aberdeen on Saturday. It seems that a limited number of signed books are distributed to their stores around the country for all writers, they also had some Alex Ferguson signed books left. I did'nt have to que for four hours but then I did'nt get to meet our Andy!

So, balancing nearness to the court and cost, where would you say are the best-value seats?

I bought mine way back in January and paid £72 for my floor level ticket and £44 for my  upper tier ticket! Personally I do prefer the floor level although I know some like to be up top looking down on the court. Both my seats were good, the floor level if I remember correctly was block 102 row k (straight across from umpire) upper tier I was block 411 row b looking straight down the court.

But yeah all in all when I'm booking next year I think I'm gonna go the extra and get floor level seats.

The key I think if your going for top tier seats make sure they are in the first couple of rows as much further back then yeah as mickey says you are much too far away from the action and great atmosphere Smile

I'm about halfway through the book now, anyone not got it yet should really try or get it for xmas it really is lovely to hear andys own words describing in detail how hes felt through the highs and lows of his career! I'm at the bit now were he briefly touches on the Dunblane tradgedy and also how he was touched that he could help in some way the survivors of sandy hook shooting. He really is a sensitive well brought up sincere young man. You forget at times he is only 26 years old, so mature and level headed.  wub
