Well we know what the media are like always trying to put ppl down and hardly showing their good side but i can only go on what i have witnessed when meeting him and like i said i found him to be friendly and chatty.
When he walked out onto the court in Geneva i shouted out " good luck Andy " and got back in a loud voice " Thank you " with a wave

He's still awkward in interviews. Media savvy will come. His voice is very monotone, but when he lets his racquet do the talking, he's pretty impressive.
And, after his disappointment with Agassi not giving him his autograph I think his attitude to his fans is wonderful. Apparently he spent ages chatting to fans and signing autographs after losing to Fed in Bangkok.
There's a difference between arrogance and wanting to win.
I dont see him as arrogant at all. :? Just fiercely ambitious.

he dosen't come across to me as an arrogant *******. I think he is just a normal person who is vry passionate about playing tennis. If he wasn't playing at Wimbledon I could imagine him q-ing up to get an autograph

Unfortunately there is no pleasing the British media. If your not arrogant (like Henman) they slate you. If you show some good old gumption - they slate you. I'm afraid in order to be a winner you've got to have some arrogance. What I love about Andy is that he is very much his own person - I don't really think he could give a rat's arse about the media. Funnily enough, the Scottish media won't give him such a hard time. The English media always seem to expect so much from their sportsmen and women.

buffness comes from within aswell though. i think what is most attractive about andy is that hes so confident and passionate.
