Our house has 7 TV's.. the biggest is in the "man-cave" in the basement... and we subscribe to all the sports channels. A blissful arrangement for all.

@ MH 12.58: U don't support Millwall do you? Lord no. Probably just as hated though! It'll be Man U.
No it's not the Scum. Probably my two least-favourite football teams in the world there ^^ I would just say but I like this guessing game.

RE watching the tennis, no problems for me. When at uni I can just watch in peace on SkyGo in my own room (although awkward constantly switching between that and here!), and the odd occasions I'm home my dad and brother both follow the sport as well (albeit not as much as football and nowhere near as much as me). But as none of us are interested in PL football any more I never have to worry about anyone wanting to watch Stoke vs Wigan or whatever's on SS1.

Yes, good interview, even though there was a strong play to their core "radio (English) football" constituency. Andy's turning of the question was superb, he's definitely got a politician's gene somewhere. Didn't notice the lack of "you knows" so much, but the ErrUmms have definitely declined markedly. Good piece of work.

Great interview but when are they going to let the 'anyone but England' go? After five years it's wearing pretty thin.

MH, Charlton then? Just teasing... Grabcopy, actually had a friend who grew up close to the Man U ground and was huge fan. He was very scathing about Man U fans who weren't from Manchester. Have another friend who now lives in Widnes but still supports his home team Southend, and his brother flies in from Germany to watch them.

I find that quite puzzling People actually take offence that fans are not from the area?

I liked the response to that particular idiot - Why shouldn't Andy. He's played games when injured in the Davis Cup. The team have done well without him so I can see where he's coming from.
On the Scottish issue. Commentators are the first to call him British when he wins and Scottish when he loses. Also we'll have Fleming back then and team him up with Jamie Murray and with Jos Rae in mixed, also Elena from the Fed Cup team. Also we'll take Judy and Leon as our captains
Scotland contributes so much to British tennis so be careful what you wish for. I don't think I'm being biased when I say that the Murrays as a whole have done more for British tennis than anyone else has ever done. I just hope Andy does what he once said he wants to do when he retires from competitive tennis, i.e. coach youngsters - something I think he'd be very good at because he's great with children. I would just say but I like this guessing game.
Aw come on - spill the beans! We won't laugh - promise! My Dad supported East Fife (even after they sunk to the depths of Scottish football), Rangers and Man U (because he liked Matt Busby). Nothing like spreading your favours around - and I think Andy does the same. Well I do the same with tennis players, after Andy of course ...

Maybe she has a larger family than I thought she has and who all follow different sports ... or maybe just likes a telly in each room so's not to miss anything ... I have one tv in what would be classed as 3 rooms - open living's a bind a times!
