Andy gets the mini break back.

Tipsy then nets a similar backhand slice (under no pressure), followed by two big serves from Andy and Andy has set point, 6-5, on serve.

And takes it with a nice cat-and-mouse play. Smile 7-6 (5).

Andy has the set point now though we are on serve.

Andy takes it.

7-6 the 1st set to Andy.

Does it go to a super-tie-break (like in Doubles) if it goes the distance? Noticed Simon beat Dolgo 10-7 in the final set.

Andy painting the lines. Nice start to the 2nd set.

If he wins can we have a match report? It's been a while since Andy's won a match. 16 days I think. Ok not that long.

Some odd conversation going on in the chat window on sportlemon... hiding chat window methinks...

I always do - the beeping gets on my nerves every times there's a new comment.

I didn't notice that, think it may have been on mute already from a previous match on sportlemon. Always hate it anyway, you get such retarded comments in there and you can't have an educated discussion because it's a bleeding chatbox.

Andy holds to love.

That's a shock.

He probably would have been seeded ahead of Federer if the rankings were as close as they were at the start of this year, but Andy's had a poor season so far. Not that it makes the slighest bit of difference.

Odds on Andy being Rafa's half for the 7th (I think?) Slam in a row?

It's no coincidence that that keeps on happening. Federer obviously prefers to play Djokovic than Nadal. Shock, horror, he draws Djokovic's half and regularly the easiest draw going every Slam.

Apparently the only seeding that's changed on the men's side is Roddick - seeded 30 for Wimbledon, whereas it's 33 on the ATP ranking.

Nicely held by Andy.

2-1 but still on serve.
