"It was a decent match," Murray said of the Djokovic game. "It had been raining fairly heavily before we went out but both of us wanted to try to play.

"After the initial five or six games there were a few good points.

"I think my preparations have gone very well. Queen's was obviously disappointing, but here the results weren't important at all.

"I'd have liked to have done better at Queen's, but after that I had a couple of good practice matches over at Wimbledon and had a couple of matches here as well. It's been good."

He will not be unduly concerned by the results at Boodles, but his build-up to the season's third Grand Slam has been far from ideal.

No biggy imo, though I didn't see any of the match - couldn't be arsed to keep hanging around.  Needed my zz Very Happy

Say it ain't so Caz..
He played most of the match fairly straight, but totally relaxed with none of the usual anxiety and threw in the odd trick shot for a laugh! The crowd loved it and so did I. It was nice to see him just having fun for a change!

Let's hope he cuts out the trick shots at Wimbley - not to mention the UEs....
Glad he was relaxed and having fun but any sort of win on grass before the tournament starts might have been helpful but who am I to say......just a humbe (slightly desperate) fan!

Yes I think Andy looks in good shape for Wimbledon.  Unfortunately so does The Joker - how easily he slips into his rythym is a bit concerning.
Andy just needs to stop this annoying habit of losing his serve straight after his got a break and he'll walk through to the semis - and then it's game on with the other 2 top players
