I like this tweet I've just read on Neil Harman's Twitter -

I bet Andy is fine. If you are not used to watching Andy you could be forgiven for thinking he is half dead with multiple contusions. I suspect the guy on twitter isn't an experienced Murray watcher. All the signals indicate he has no problem. He was smiling when the guy gave him the massage on-court in Toronto and he looked very happy when he was eating the cake. Andy is ok, mark my words.

Most recent tweet 10 mins ago says he is still playing real points against Ferrer, and knee loosening up. There is still hope.
At least he doesn't have to play until Wednesday.  The only things I'm going to believe though are the ones that come from Andy himself.  Whatever he finally decides to do - and I'm aware there's a difference between practising and playing competitively - I'll be 100% behind him.  The USO is much more important.  If he doesn't play here, then I'm sure he could play an exhibition match or two somewhere beforehand just to warm up.

OMG.... The MUZZA affect is amazing.
And it seems it isn't only the people of Dunblane who are flocking to see the post box -

Speaking of twitter does anyone know why Andy has stopped tweeting?

He stopped mainly because, sadly, he was getting a lot of negative and abusive tweets.  McEnroe was standing beside him at Wimbledon two years ago and was appalled by some of the stuff he read.  Also Andy reckoned he was wasting far too much time tweeting himself.

I  sometimes read  Andy's TL .   ie  his mentions.  I read it today.  The amount of love for Andy is incredible  lol. So many lovely tweets  Very Happy

re  Aileen the abusive tweets.  Lots more people on twitter get much much much more abuse  than Andy.  I can think of so many people.

twitter is nice sometimes, but If you spend too long on it.  its a waste of your time tbh.

One girl I saw on twitter has tweeted over 190,000 times.  That's quite sad really.

Thanks Linda. Interesting that Andy briefly touched his left knee after his last serve on your video.
