what does everyone else think.................Our Andy looks a little leaner? (i think this bodes well), i'm liking the return to the shorter style of hair............and like"iamabritt" said he looks relaxed................i'm itching to watch him play after so long without seeing him in action
yes P.T liking the look, i think he said he cut it himself!! looks great, cant wait for next week,

The
Draw
guys !
Many thanks Sylvie. Agree with Aileen it looks a reasonable draw on the face of it but I'm certainly not an expert so look forward to the proper prognosis on the home page. Might we be washing down our fish puns yet again?

I am so pleased that Andy is in Nadal's draw half. I believe that particularly on hard court, Andy has the measure and hence the beating of Rafa.
It looks a reassonably good draw for Andy. The only player to be aware of is Mardy Fish. On the other hand, Fish is not playing as well with the same level of confidence as he enjoyed last year.
Andy for the final and on to the winner's podium!

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

Hi deb!
R. Sole is Mardy Fish. You're a newbie so won't know about the endless "Fish" puns which appear on MW
every
time Andy plays him.

Can't think of any fish puns we haven't already done, so how about we just call him 'STINKY' from now on?

Sylvie, thanks for all your pictures.
Have just watched the press interview with Andy. What a difference a period can make. He handled the questions with confidence. Always turned his attention towards the speaker and was relaxed and in control of his answers.
This is the mature and grown-up Andrew he advised us all would occur between his 23 and 26 birthdays.
I still have strong visions of his success in Montreal and then USO. There I have pronounced my predictions from the mount!
