I'm going to get drama llama at my door for saying this, but I hope if Andy loses to Federer that he's not too deflated and lets it affect his MD final. I'd love for him to win at least one gold.

British tennis Journo.  Love this acc

ON SUNDAY I WILL BE SHOWERING ANDREW WITH GOLD!!!!!!!!!

So thrilled for Andrew and his partner. Words can't even describe what's been going on in my trousers for the last two hours, you know.

SWEET MOTHER OF MARGARET THATCHER THIS IS HAPPENING

The secret to British mixed success? Women faint at the mere sight of Andrew, like they once did for Beatles. Must find Laura some blinders.

Another funny chat with Ivan. Said if I don't shut up he'd "choke me 'til my face turned colors of the rings." Great Olympic spirit, really.

Andrew has a "3" next to his name which I will turn into a "<3" with my marker when no one is looking. For queen and country, you know.

Just finished watching the replay.  Great match.  These two really do make an excellent pairing and Andy is so patient with Laura, giving her encouragement when she needs it.  Very glad though that I knew the result first!

Murray, Serena can join Venus ('00) Massu ('04) as only players to win 2 golds @ 1 Games since tennis reinstated in '88.

The schedule is an overkill. Two medal matches in a row!
Nevertheless the 2 silvers are sealed so I don't have to worry much.

If he won the Olympic gold, it'd be the worst thing to happen to his career.
Oh, right.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

I think I meant it would be the worst thing IF he doesn't win a slam. It would appear a seriously devalued achievement. I still think that.

But I believe he'll win a slam now.

Thanks. I understand, and I am sure a GS is just round the corner. Yes, its been said before, by me and others. Consensus now is that it imminent.
