It is only a banner, I wouldn't read too much into it.
It's all based off who are the most marketable players, and sadly SmugFed is still ahead of Andy in that department, as are OCDull and Djoker.
It doesn't really bother me, especially as I feel they are trying to cash in on Roger while he's still playing and can get away with using his image, but it all becomes a self-fulfulling prophecy. The players used on banners are presumed to be the top players, and to be the top stars, therefore their star status is boosted by being on the banners. Younger and less hard-core tennis fans will want to see the guys on the posters, proving
that they are the marketable ones.
Clearly, Fed is very marketable, but I think it is an issue for tennis that they promote too few players as the big stars. It was what made this year's Wimbledon so refreshing. Amongst other things!
