Oh...I knew well enough that Fed had a day's rest in between matches, but these Fed fans were so devoted to qualifying Andy's performance in the final that even if I had corrected them, it would not have changed their viewpoint.
Enjoying your posts re Andy's practice sessions and the Fed fans, they give us in England real insights into what Andy is doing on a day to day basis. It is amazing how people view Andy and the mass of mis-information they pick up. Will be in Colorado and New Mexico in the middle of September - no hurricans there - just massive fires - poor old States!

If they make it, then Andy and Federer will be playing semi for the 1st time.

Players to watch:
Raonic
Tsonga
Federer

Andy Murray - US Open and Wimbledon champion! :)

From @stu_fraser:
Murray's potential US Open path - R1: Bogomolov Jr. R2: Dodig/Qualifier. R3: Lopez. R4: Raonic. QF: Tsonga. SF: Federer. F: Djokovic.

That's not too bad at all. Fed's draw looks tougher for once - he doesn't like playing Simon, and then has got Berdych followed by Andy.

I watched the draw too and wasn't too discouraged. Let's hope he's really on form and this time comes away with the title.

I'm a bit worried about Raonic, but trust in Andy's ability against big servers when it really matters.

Only problem is Raonic but he will have to make that far as well. I am not sure who he's playing before Andy.

And since Andy is on Federer's half, the schedule will favour him as well or so I hope, though it's a hard call at this point. Nole has the easiest in this simply because he won't have to play two top players and at this stage, where he seems very tired, is probably a good thing.

Just waiting for the full draw.
