He said he thought that if she continued to improve her fitness and movement she would do really well but that she needed time.  I think he was trying to take the pressure off her.

Its having the opposite the effect, taking the focus off Andy a little bit.

so funny to watch him - really deadpan and giving nothing away.  Did say he thought there was nothing between USO, AO and Wimbledon in terms of likelihood of 1st slam but that he agreed RG the least likely.

It was funny wasnt giving Marcus anything at all except maybe the comment about Andys chances in the different slams. Although he did mention the Olympic win twice.

Google bbc/tennis and it will put on the page with the report of Laura's win and scroll down and it says Lendle believes in Murray with the video there!

Courage doesn't always roar - but wins Wimbledon

I think Mr. L is awesome yay. I loved how deadpan he was with Marcus, how he wouldn't give anything away. Liked the respect paid to Matt and Jez for Andy's fitness too.

I'm glad he agrees with me on which slams Andy is likely to win Whistle. Good to know that he didn't pick Wimbledon over the US, which some comms tend to do, especially the Brit ones.

I'm ridiculously happy that he mentioned the Olympics win twice yay yay yay.
