My "Murrays Arms" would have a TV on an endless loop showing the first set of this year's Wimbledon Final.

At least until next years Wimbledon final, when it would show the last game of the greatest achievement of a British sportsman ever, as the Dunblane Destroyer takes out the Smug One is straight sets......

Ah, I can dream, can't I?  And who can tell me that it can't happen?

During the final the BBC did a lot of shots of Judy, with is very strange. More than Lendl or Kim. Her looks are not positive for people who don't know her (aggresive, too much involved etc). That can't be the truth (she talked about this in the interview recently), but it effects Andy's image, also (or may be only?) outside GB. Lots of people don't talk about Andy but about  his mum... Why does the BBC focus so much on his mother?

In one way it is understandeble that people are critical about Andy. The best Dutch player (Haase) is trying to stay one of the best 40 players of the world. No way that we hoot (right word?) him or what so ever, never. We encourage him and on the Davis cup we dress ourselves in orange and yell... Being no 4 you are not someting, you are ""someting NOT"", not the best, not the winner of a grand slam, not....
For people who want to identify demselves with only a winner is that a difficult thing to handle...
an other thing; lots of people do only look at tennis for the bigger tournaments and in weekends, so they watch Andy (if they see him) in the SF or the f, with he often loose. The doesn't see the beautiful and surprising and the winning matches...

But, have said this, of course I do not really understand it...stupid British people! You have a wonderfull tennisplayer, he deserves your support !

wow when you consider that tennis isn't really one of the top sports in UK that's quite something I guess. But then of course twitter is international not just British.
