Murray in Nadal's half! yay

This means that, going as I am on Thursday, I ought to see Murray on Centre! cmon yeah

Seen him a few times now, including at close quarters at Queen's last week, but I'd rather see him again at Wimbledon than Federer, with all the fawning and general fan-boying/fan-girling that goes with that twat. yuk

On best behaviour then Joe - I hear the Queen's going to be there that day to see you the tennis Very Happy

Tuesday Amy. Andy is in Nadal's half.  If Andy wins, he will play the second round on Thursday under the Queen's presence who hasn't been to Wimbledon since 1977 !

Good question.  I don't know.  When was the last time we had a British men in the Wimbledon final for a chance to win Wimbledon ?   Tim was close especially the one against Goran but rain affected his impetus.

I think that last year, the Queen was planning to attend the Wimbledon final if Andy beat Roddick in the SF.

Thursday would be the 2nd round but I don't know why the Queen would want to come on a Thursday (free slot in the busy schedule?).  Maybe the Queen has suddenly picked up interest in the game after seeing the exciting AO final this year and want to watch Andy again Smile ?  Or maybe She is savvy and knows that Rafa (2nd seed) is playing on Thursday and she wants to watch the FO champion ?

^Probably time in her schedule lol and there's generally other royals kicking about during the second week anyway.
Also imagine the pressure on Andy if the Queen announced she'd be there for the semi's or final and he didn't make it Smile
