We don't even know who Ito is playing yet, the schedule will be up Tuesday.
Ito is playing Aussie John Millman, who beat Donald Young and Alex Bogomolov in the Qualifiers, so it could be an interesting match.

Maybe a wee barbituate might help.
I understand that players often take a pill, although certainly not a barbie, to help them adapt.  Airline pilots and stewardesses do the same on long-haul flights to help them cope with the quick turn-arounds that flying involves, but the pills they take apparently have no "morning after" effects like barbies and other older brands of sleeping pills do.

And for anyone who thinks that jet-lag exists in the mind, this article might interest them.  Jet-lag is physiological, not psychological - http://www.sleepassociation.org/index.php?p=jetlag

Interesting article It helps me understand why tennis players are always going on about it. Living in the UK, it's bad enough when we have to lose an hour in the Spring and gain one in the Autumn.

Jet lag is awful.  Always find it worse going from Australia to UK

well that will give you an easier year bbh if you only have to get psyched up 4 times.  But also will leave long barren stretches.   Whistle

Unfortunately I seem to care about lesser tournaments still and especially the masters and after all andy himself has said he now wants to take the other tournaments more seriously to improve his consistency and try to achieve his goal of becoming #1.

Absolutely. The only way Murray will improve his ranking is to try and win every tournament, Slams and Masters. He did so badly in Masters last season, just to win 2
this season would help tremendously

He did'nt win a single one last season and as you say he was at no4 or indeed no3 all season so if he won a couple of Masters this season he should improve his ranking  Yes?
