Andy says that the courts in Shanghai (medium fast courts, fast balls) are perfect for him and his tennis and he also loves the city/food. The only year he played a great Asian swing was in 2011.

The best match he ever played is still the Tokyo final against Nadal though, especially that 3rd set.
