Disappointed for you craig. Such is the murraycoaster. He seemed like he was caught in two minds or at times, no mind, with dire results.
Do we know when Andy's playing the doubles? [though I think Andy has to be playing well for the pair to hope to win] EDIT: Just checked on the ATP site, they're 4th on Court 7 tomorrow (which starts at 11.00am IW time) Bet Andy will be glad to move on.
2nd EDIT: Just thinking over craig's perceptive comments above, could there be a case that 'the Lendl effect' is actually adding to the pressure and expectation?
Doubles today 11am US time court 7 so dont know if it will be televised.

craighateslife - what a bummer. Don't let it lead you to give up on Andy though. It was just bad luck that you should go to all that effort on one of Andy's bad days. Worrying though what you said about how anxious he appeared. I just hope that the longer he works with Lendl the less frequent these dips become - and no I don't think it was the pressure of Lendl's expectations etc which caused this to happen. After all Lendl wasn't even there and when he was there at AO Andy played so well against Nole.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

I am left feeling rather numb after witnessing that It will take me a while to be able to have a good feeling about Andy now . Garcia Lopez was good but Andy was horrific, his level of play was so poor I am completely baffled. But, Craig, you hate life. Your expectations should be appropriately low.

Also Craig, judging by your avatar statement, are you sure your observation of Andy wasn't somewhat or partly projection of what you were feeling?

I think they're up against a top dubs team next aren't they so don't get your hopes up and hate life even more Craig. Just hope that Andy plays well and can take positives from that and then flies off to sort out his singles game with Mr L. The phone conversation they had sounds very positive so that's a good start.
