Don't think it'll matter - would be surprised if they both made it to the semi.

Yeah.. I 'heard' that too.
According to their twitter site, the draw finished almost 1 hour ago. Nothing official on website yet

Very strange - in 8 qualifier matches so far there have been three retirements after the 1st set, and another after 4 games. Hope the IW bug hasn't travelled to Miami.

Andy draws Falla or Istomin in the second round - neither of them easy.  Probably Raonic in the third round - he will have to be on his mettle from the start!

Andy has said before that there are no easy matches anymore. Istomin had a good run at IW.

One match at a time.

Well Andy will certainly be on his guard from the word go this time after IW and facing a tricky draw.  I think this means he'll be playing 2nd round on Friday, untelevised in UK, as the tourno website had said that Nole will be defending his title on Saturday?    Though after IW might have been too nervous to watch 2nd round anyway doh

Actually  Andy often does better when it's a tricky draw.  When it looks like an easy path he can fall by the wayside.  So fingers and all else crossed that Andy comes out all racquets blazing [a la his Head ad] and gains those 1000 points.  And as a bonus hope smugfed instead falls by the wayside in an early round.

It is a tough draw but Andy can lose to anyone or beat anyone. If he gets past Istomin/Falla then he may well go all the way. Just really hoping he will win the first match!

Yes, lets take one round at a time. With lendl there it may all be a different ball game.

He will be fine. Somtimes i think we all expect too much, just let it take its course not expect too much and wish andy well.  We all know he can do it.

Well Andy himself once said that there's no such thing as an easy draw.  It's all down to how a player feels and performs on the day.  He's always said that he takes things one match at a time, so that's something I've tried to do myself - but it isn't always that easy!  I'm just glad he has Lendl with him here.  That should hopefully give him confidence and bring out the best in him.
