Yeah Tessie, would like to experience a "golden " period with Andy! But I guess it wouldn't be the same. It's a bit like Forrest Gump and the box of chocolates! Either way, I feel so fortunate and privileged to watch oor Andy play.

Yes as others have said, watching Andy gives you palpitations and it is difficult to not get over excited. I hope he has a good start to Miami and goes deep into the competition.

If he manages to overcome "early rounditis" I expect him to get to the semis at least

The only meeting between Murray and Falla at ATP level was in the QF of LA in 2010. Andy won 7-6 6-1.

I'm glad it's Falla and not Istomin, although I think I remember Falla giving Fed a run for his money at Wimbledon a few years ago.

That was a weird match though, I've never seen Federer so languid.
Falla prefers the dirt. But Andy is so traditionally poor at this stage of an event that you can never tell with him. Those defeats to Bogomolov and Young will live long in the memory.

They were pre-Lendl - let's hope his presence makes a difference.

Andy Murray - Olympic and USO champion! :)

I'm pleased that Andy will be facing Falla rather than Istomin. Sounds like Andy is training well with Lendl this week so hopefully that will translate to a good match on Friday, fingers crossed.

Cahill quoted in The Herald today as saying Indian Wells was just a blip - Andy is hitting the ball well and is on course for a great season. Go Andy!!!!

The big difference this year is not only Andy's improved mental attitude - and let's face it, he was in a monumental funk when he played IW and Miami last year - but, as you know, he has Lendl with him here. We will never know quite what went wrong in IW this time round, but I'm prepared to believe Cahill that it was a blip. I'm pleased that Andy will be facing Falla rather than Istomin. Sounds like Andy is training well with Lendl this week so hopefully that will translate to a good match on Friday, fingers crossed.
Are you sure about that Katie because I'm thinking Andy won't play until Saturday as that's apparently when the other Big Boys kick off. Also Sky and tennisTV (my live-streaming) don't start televising matches until then.

From the tennis press it looks as though Andy is playing on Friday afternoon and Rafa on Friday evening.
