Simon lost to Berlocq twice I think in the last month on the clay tournies in South America, which surprised me. Seems to be playing a lot better this week.
Murray's break back.
the deuce rule is bloody stupid in my opinion, why on earth have they enforced this?

Yes those Simon results surprised me too. This week's been very good for him - just won the first set 6-0.
Andy and Jamie break back yet again!

Bleh, Murray's get broken straight back and Bryan's save break point to take it to match/break point. Don't understand this deuce rule at all.
But Murray's win it to get back on serve. Bizarre match, no-one can hold serve. Serving to stay in it now...
Simon bagels Tipsarevic and Tsonga 4-0 up in 2nd set.

It seems that every occasion I have seen the scores at deuce on the Murray's serve (at least 3 times) that they lose it and conversely whenever the situation is reversed on the Bryan's serve, they win the point.
Or am I just biased against the rule?

Andy and Jamie lose. Shame
Looks like a close match though.

Sure enough Murray's broken straight back and Bryan's take match 7-5, 6-4. Shame, good effort though. Now Andy can focus on the singles.

I don't like the deuce rule in doubles either - it takes a lot of the excitement out of a close game IMO. Good showing for the Murray boys against the world number 1 duo though - just shows how good they could be if they played together all the time. A pity that just can't heppen with the way tennis is structured these days.

Pity Simon couldn't keep up his high level - one set all against Tipsy now.

Saved a break point at the start of the 3rd but vitally held on to his serve.
Dolgopolov a break up against Djokovic, very early days there though. I wonder if his grandfather's death will spur on Djokovic today or affect him negatively. I think he can be forgiven if he's not completely with it today, very sad news at any time but to receive it hours before going on court..
Dolgopolov breaks again without really doing.. Well anything. Four Djokovic errors. Certainly not quite with it today. Dolgopolov to serve for the set.
Dolgopolov takes first set 6-2.
Simon 4-1 up in third set.

This Djokovic match is unbearable, I wish he'd withdrawn. I feel sorry for Dolgopolov.
Tipsy also upset about Novak's grandfather?

Think Tipsy was already on court before the news broke? Not sure.
Simon bt Tipsarevic 6-0, 4-6, 6-1.
Djokovic 3-0 up in 2nd set.
4-1 now, Djokovic playing a lot better and it's Dolgopolov making the errors.
Djokovic cruising through this set now.

Djokovic goes through then after all, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. Great opportunity for Dolgopolov but he really blew it, made so many errors I lost count. By the end he was struggling to get a Djokovic serve (first or second) back in court.

A very emotional end to the match from Nole, it must have been so tough to play today. Dolgopolov was showing today his talent but also his inconsistency - its so hard for him to maintain a high stable level throughout an entire match.
