Andy in my kitchen - well, sort of!
« on: January 01, 2010, 04:39 PM »
At last the very splendid Andy Murrary 2010 calendar is proudly displayed in my kitchen. Amazon delivered it a while back, and today being New Year's Day it has finally been revealed in its full glory. The photographs are classy, like Andy himself, and the January pic is a compelling portrait of a guy who means business - at 22 Andy appears mature, confident and assured. He is also very hot, without even trying, elegant good looks, eyes to melt any woman, great bone structure and, as has been remarked on MW before, those very kissable lips.
As for the layout of the calendar, it is just perfect, with big spacious boxes for each day of the month and all the public holidays for the UK and the US highlighted. The other important dates noted are all the big tennis tournaments, which is actually very handy indeed. I'm hoping to use my red felt-tip for some very special red-letter days concerning Andy's progress this year... judging by the January shot Andy is well up for it and it won't be through lack of supreme discipline and incredibly hard work if things don't go his way. With his dedication, self-discipline and torturous physical training involving ten 400m sprints in 76 seconds with 76-second breaks in between, Andy has never looked better or been better prepared for what will be an incredibly competitive and definitive year.
Wishing Andy, the team and everyone on MW a very happy, healthy and successful new year. Bring it on.

Thanks for that, it made me laugh!
I've got Andy in my bedroom, too! Has anyone else noticed his eyes in the January picture seem to be looking at you wherever you are in the room? The cheeky sod's been watching me get changed every day! Can't be much fun for him, though,
I
don't like seeing me get changed.
Agree with you completely, clementine, he's a beautiful young man. LOVE those high cheekbones and intense eyes!

The bloody calendar is behind my door, so I can't look at him all the time... And I think he's checking everyones bedrooms, in the hope that Laura Robson has one it her room....

If she did, she might be throwing darts at it by now!
I must say I'm rather enjoying having Andy's calendar up. Last year I made one from my own photographs through one of the photo websites, and really enjoyed it. It was actually quite sad taking it down. But now it's nice having Andy in my bedroom, just sitting there, looking hot, not saying anything; ideal scenario, really! lol
Plus, in my birthday month of March, in the photo he's wearing the sexiest sweater ever! Yes!

Afraid September one is similar to the January one. In August he's wearing a black jacket and looking very much the male model
Not sure I could bring myself to throw darts at that fine, handsome face, but I certainly don't mind shouting at it. I was actually at the O2 when he played Fed, and I must have shouted at Andy between every point. I've never shouted before in my life, I didn't know I had such volume in me. I'm sure between one point, it was rather quiet, so I really shouted for Andy, then he hit a return winner off Fed's serve! It felt wonderful! lol

I've never been lucky enough to see him live, but I did see Jamie & Liezel play at Wimbledon this year, was aaaammmaaazing!
And ohhh darn, my hopes of coaty goodness on my birthday have been dashed....
