The interesting rankings issue is that you would expect by the end of the year that Djoke would overtake Fed for the number one spot. Fed has 3000 points to defend whilst Djoke has only 380. The gap has closed to 835 after Djoke won in China and he has only 180 points to defend in Paris where Fed won last year. Strangely the Paris points for 2011 last until after the O2 event so nothing is settled for end of year ranking until after WTF. Where did you hear this? The WTF points have always been removed right after Paris along with the Paris points.

Initially I thought the threat may have come from his wife.... he mentioned retiring soon to her.
But yeah those Fed fans...are a frustrating lot.

I wonder why my coverage won't start until 7pm then Maybe they are only covering centre court matches, which start at 2 pm.

.......... and put him on the clock. He seems to respond well to a time limit!
And that too!

How to motivate Andy more? Let him wear the GB Olympic kit at the WTF - he performed like a man possessed in that outfit I like that idea, and it would go down a storm in London, especially this year lol.

He does indeed. I told someone after he beat Baggy at. Wimbledon that timed tennis should be compulsory for Andy lol.

During the USO, Andy beat Raonic just in time before the rain arrived otherwise he would have had to come back the next day. Knowing he needs to win by a certain time helps to focus the mind and no time for swearing at himself, the box, smashing racket, etc... I wonder if Andy is aware of the benefits of total concentration?

Fair enough. Think it must be because the season finished a week earlier this year, but as you say, quite strange.

Dani V is just a practise bud.... i dont think he listens much to him.

Nishikori is rightly getting praised for his J open win...however the next true test is against Djoko in Shanghai...if they both progress in their draws, of course.
Kinda bizarre bookies odds on Raonic 25/1 .... compared to a player who just kicked his ass in a final Nishikori 50/1.
I'd go for either Murray or Djoko to win Shanghai...the surface suits them. If pushed Id go for Djoko ...Murray - Lendl aint the same player.
