P.s what was the censored word? Type it out in 2 or 3 stages lol
I forgot the censoring, it did rather ruin the effect lol. It was b.oll.ocks. Not a word I'd usually aim at someone (I don't really like swearing at people) but apt in the circumstances I thought.
The point about the seeding is ridiculous, and I agree with you completely. One or two comms brought it up last week, suggesting they should make Nadal second seed (Barry Cowan) and it annoyed me. RG does its seedings based on rankings. Andy is 2 in rhe world and he is there by right, based on his performance this year. He's worked for that ranking and shouldn't be penalised for Nadal, and neither should Ferrer for that matter.
Changing the way RG does things just to accomodate Nadal would be grossly unfair in my view, to Andy and Ferrer, but also to other players who have had extended injury breaks and haven't had that advantage on surfaces they perform well on. The fact is that if Nadal is good enough to win RG, he is good enough to win it wherever he is seeded.
It isn't clear at all that Nadal is top two at this point. He's played clay tournaments and Indian Wells this year, all of which suit his game to a tee. Let's see how he fairs on the grass and in the US Open series before we leap to conclusions.
