People on twitter panicking because of this picture. Hm..

Maybe this was the moment it sank in for Andy that Smugfed is out and he needed to sit down to stop laughing.

In honor of what will be my 200th post (not a great deal compared with others might i add) & to wish Andy luck later today, i give you Andy's prayer which i did post on his official forum a few years back!

Andy's prayer (revised edition)

Our Andy
Who art from Scotland
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Wimbledon come
Thy will be done in SW19
As it did at flushing meadows

Give us this day a 1st round romp
And forgive our frustrations
As we forgive your 2nd serve

And lead us not to a shock 3rd round defeat
But deliver us from evil-Fed
For thine is the championship
THE POWER & THE GLORY
FOR EVER & EVER

Andymen

I'll get me coat!!!

I've only just seen this! How have I missed it? Brilliant stuff!

I heard on radio that someone who hit with Andy when they were much younger composed a song for Andy, which was tweeted and Judy picked it up and he's been invited to the match tomorrow.  I wonder if it's one of the songs we've had posted on MW.
Leaving aside all the nervous anxiety being expended on MW I don't know about the rest of you but I sense a real change in the way Andy is now perceived by the media and the public and in how he carries himself. This is a grand slam champion/Olympic gold medallist aiming to win Wimbledon and it feels like he's finally getting the respect he deserves.

Totally agree, Ruthie.

Oh ****!  Could mean anything or nothing .. nervous .. but pics like this we do not need.

Andy sounded perfectly OK earlier on the BBC this evening when assessing the Robredo match, but we don't know when the interview was held.

Maybe Lendl is just explaining something to him and Dani is listening carefully so's he can implement the boss's instructions.  The fact that Andy is sitting against the net could just be a coincidence.  At least he looks comfortable enough.

I think Andy has learned to love and accept himself.  That's no mean feat - some people go their whole lives unable to do that.  He's a well rounded, well adjusted individual, who just happens to have an amazing talent.  He's not the sum of his tennis prowess, and he knows it.

If there was anything wrong with his back he would NEVER be sitting propped up like that, I can tell you. That would hurt so much.

Apologies if it has already been posted, but you can hear the song here Ruthie: http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/news/articles/2013-06-27/201306271372361939433.html?promo=rss

I've never had a back problem (thankfully) but that was my rational thinking.  Andy looks perfectly at ease sitting there like thati.

This is one reason why I dislike Twitter and Facebook - it's the source of so many rumours and stories that have no foundation whatsoever.

thanks MP.  Yes it was posted earlier but I wasn't sure it was this one so helpful to have it confirmed - and new readers can hear it here first.

Yes Aileen I think if there was a problem it would be Andy Ireland or mattie little talking to him.

I don't see any point in continuing to wonder what this picture might or might not mean.  Things are twitchy enough as it is - not helped by the unprecedented number of retirals and withdrawals this year.
