Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I was lucky enough to be on Centre Cpurt yesterday, I couldn't believe it when Sue announced Andy, he got a standing ovation from the crowd, loads of the Olympians wanted to have their photo taken with Andy, but he didn't stop in the Royal Box, but he chatted to Sir Chris Hoy and his wife for quite a time.
When we were having a cup of tea later a Steward who was policing the Members area  showed us a photo of him with Andy, he said that Andy was with Ross and this Navy chap had asked Ross to take the photo.
Thanks, it's lovely to get insight from the point of view of someone who is actually there.

Jerzy could trouble Andy in the semis.     If they both get that far.

I didn't see the Olympians' celebration, so it was a privilege to be able to see it on Andy's blog.

What a wonderful occasion and what great memories of last summer it brought back.  I freely admit I was sitting watching it with tears of emotion running down my cheeks - and Andy was simply magnificent.  I didn't think it was possible that I could love him even more, but I do.

OK - back to reality ...

Strange feeling that Haas will beat Djokovic.
Sounds amusing, but anything seems possible in this crazy tournament. Rolling Eyes

As for Youzhny being dangerous - I recall that Henman rated him as 7 on a scale of 0-10.  The way I see it though is that if Andy can maintain his recent calmness and get Youznhy rattled as Haas did at RG (and I can't believe he and Lendl don't have his hair-trigger temper in mind) then that could seriously see the demise of his game as well as a racquet or two.
