If they did randomise the stream address, couldn't you not just sign up for the paid-for service through the proxy you gave?

I wouldn't mind paying. Or would they know then that you were actually in the UK?

Yeh I was actually thinking of signing up through a proxy anyway. This whole illegal things does feel a bit "dirty" somehow.

Yeh I agree, but would they find out and shut down your account? Surely they've only got to look at your billing address to know that you're in the UK?

Not really...the streams are open to the world, presuming you're in the right bit of it. I did "discover" the stream addresses during my free trial (they try to hide them a bit by passing them to a script that swaps a for n, b for o, c for p, etc), but as someone else posted them here before me they're probably becoming fairly open knowledge now.

The fact that they chose a cipher abandonned by the romans for being too easy to break to protect their stream addresses suggests they probably wouldn't realise. And I'd suppose you could be living in Germany just paying with your UK bank account anyhow.

Just so the important bit doesn't get lost in the middle of this thread, here it is again:

tb100 your name should be tb100 to the power of 64, because you are god to the power of 64. lol

I got a mate who is phd in computing to ask for the file from the atp server from germany and then put it on his server and that worked as well.

I am so so annoyed at myself for not checking back on what I posted earlier.

I've been trying to watch a 700k stream on a 512k connection.

Then realising this didn't work for more than a point at a time tried to save the stream as i watched so then i could watch with delay (using vlc media player which also didnt work for long). in the end had to stop and then click play after every point sometimes it would work sometimes i would miss a few points only saw a few serves.

DUDE ONCE AGAIN KUDOS

ALL HAIL TB100 THE GOD!!!!!

And well done Andy no idea how on earth you won that!!!!
