He stopped Tweeting last year before the USO as he thought it was jinxing him after a quote someone sent him. Superstious nonsense, but that was it.

He is very superstitious! He hates to be wished 'Good Luck', but when I once told him to 'break a leg' before a match........he almost did! I won't be doing that again!

Touch the sky - and touch it he did.

I thought he doesn't like to be wished good luck not because he's superstitious but because it's not a matter of luck. Though he accepts that people mean well by it so doesn't actively hate it. At least that's what I remember reading somewhere.
Just read the notice about Abu Dhabi - reading between the lines sounds like smugfed's terms might have been too high so they came up with the 3 past winners + 3 rising stars [though Ferrrer hardly rising now] formula to cover themselves.

Oh....I read it was because he was superstitious! Just goes to show, you can't believe everything you read!

This was posted on Andy's Facebook: Please support Malala Yousafzai, a 14 year old girl, who was shot simply because she wanted to go to school. You can sign the petition here...www.iammalala.org Ensuring that every child in the world has the opportunity to go to school and to learn is a longstanding passion of mine. Education breaks the cycle of poverty and unlocks better health and better job prospects.
