Very Sad
To prove he's over it, he's going to have to play very well at DC, else the critics will be typing away about how he's such a letdown and all.
What about this capsulis shoulder malark?

It's capuslitis of the wrist isn't it? Never heard of it until the other day, but we don't need more injuries just as he's at a crossroads with his overall game. I expect another withdrawal from DC over the last few days, in which case the tabloids will go mental again! lol

On sky someone emailled because he'd had a wrist scan, yet the shoulder problem showed up. What is Capuslitis anyhow?

Capsulitis by definition is inflammation of a ligament. Anywhere in the body where two bones come together they form a joint; that is what allows movement within the skeletal system. (Your ankle bending up and down is movement of a joint.)

Surrounding the joint are the capsular ligaments, which act to keep the two bones lined up in approximation so that the joint can function in its optimal range. Ligaments are very tough tissue, almost leather like in texture.

The problem is that you have leather like structures trying to hold bone together (healthy bone has a tensile strength similar to low grade steel). If there is any stress placed on the joint from trauma, or abnormal biomechanical functioning you can be sure the “leather” is going to give out first before the “steel” does. This is what causes capsulitis.

Is it similar to getting fluid on the joint?

I'm actually not sure .... but I don't think it is really the same thing - both extremely painful though.

I can imagine- how on earth is he going to play if his ligaments have been detached from his bone?

We'll never know the extent of any injury to any player - not in their best interests to let the opposition know what problems they have.
