I notice Cowan not commentating on the Fed-Paire match, wonder if he's gone home in a strop.

Thought that too lol. Good to see the word strop by the way. I thought it was a Worcester word. Perhaps not.

Takes me to "Murray unveils Cowan as new coach" - one of Nigel's April Fools.

I hadn't seen it, as it's from before my time on MW, but "Today's announcement will put to an end rumours of exotic liaisons with some of the game's great luminaries, such as Ivan Lendl ...."

Although Murray has publicly welcomed the new appointment, friends say that yesterday's attempts to fashion a crude but workable noose from his shoelaces could indicate doubt.

Well isn't nice to see that Andy appreciates support from his fans and is kind enough to answer. Not many would do that.

Every time I look at that, and it is new to me because it's before my time on MW, it makes me laugh lol.

I to missed most of the match to Ruthie I don't think Cowan was commentating. He was in the studio after the match to talk about the game.

Is it wrong of me that I sincerely hope he was asked about what Andy said? The mental image of him squirming fills me with devilish glee lol.

Yes and as BC was in the studio we'd have seen him squirm and Fleming's eyebrow go through the ceiling .  Oh drat that we all missed it, if it happened.
