Nope, I'd still support him. I mean, I watch Andy for Andy, and Kim is just a pretty bonus whenever the camera pans to her. I'm sure she's a lovely person and everything, but I'm here for Andy. I'd definitely be sad if they ever broke up, and maybe a teensy bit disappointed, but whatever Andy decides is his business. We just have to be there and support him - maybe **** a little bit in the forums. In the end, it's him and his tennis we're here for. At least, that's why I'm here.

I mean, if their relationship weathered all of those punishing disappointments and harsh scrutiny, then I'd bet they'd make it. It's their relationship anyway. All I can do is either squee or rage at my computer at whatever happens. Smile

Unfortunately this is the kind of thread that gets opened when there's no Andy tennis to watch.  It seems MW absolutely has to have something to discuss about him.

Yeah, I want to know about Kim's wedding dress, her ring and her choice of flowers because naturally that's what interests me as a girl so shoot me then. :P

Ain't nothing going to happen on that front for a couple of years at least, I believe. Andy's totally focussed on his tennis - thats what they both want just now.

Completely understand where you're coming from!I'm a big fan of their relationship,and I LOVE weddings,so if/when they do get engaged/married I'll be thrilled,and you'll probably hear my squealing from wherever you are in the world if we get some decent wedding pics!(That said though,I'd hope they'd be able to keep at least some of the day private for just them and their loved ones.I know Jamie managed that very successfully,so maybe there's hope,but it'd probably be much more difficult for Andy & Kim,given how much interest there is in them.)

The thing is,though,right now-as far as we know-there is no wedding to get excited about!And yet the way the press carry on about wedding plans,you'd think Andy had rented out some kind of global stage and proposed on it-or at least was planning to.I've a cousin in his mid-twenties who's been with the same girl for about 7 years now.Whenever their grannies see them,they start asking when they're going to get married!(It can be pretty funny at times,I have to admit.But these women mean business!) They find THAT hard to deal with!So I can't imagine how much more difficult and annoying-not to mention SO intrusive-Andy & Kim must find all these articles about it.Not to mention the many press conferences where Andy gets asked about it.

So I don't see the problem with a bit of interest on here about it,among Andy (& presumably Kim) fans,who at the end of the day just want to see him happy.But I really,really think the press need to lay off and let them have a bit of their clearly much-valued privacy.

As much as people seem to think they "know" Andy, they don't.

You have no idea what takes priority in Andy's life, whether it be Kim or tennis, what their plans are, where their heads are at. I mean, it's fun to speculate, but no one here is the authoritative expert on that relationship or what goes on in private. So to say: they'll get married after this and this or they won't get married etc, etc, does nothing. That's not criticizing the existence of the thread - merely pointing out that no one here has some sort of inside scoop (correct me if I'm wrong).
