from wikipedia: Henmania is the state of hysteria at the possibility of Tim Henman winning the men's singles at the Wimbledon Championships in tennis.
It is commonly found on Henman Hill a large grassy bank in the All England Lawn Tennis Club with a large television screen so that the fans that have not managed to gain a ticket for the actual court side can watch the big matches.
A cure for Henmania could be:
Henman managing to win the event.
More high-standard British tennis players being in existance, thus de-saturating the mass support of Henman, creating an alternative to Tiger Tim. A recently observed derivation is Andymonium, after Andrew Murray. This may not be a cure as such, but may well be a desirable alternative.

They've just done a great interview with Andy on Sky News. It covered all sorts, his hair, grumpiness, and Maria Sharapova...he's gone off her!!  I just happened to have the recorder ready to go so I've got it on disc. I'll try and do a transcript in a bit. |
