You are right about eurosport no mention of Rafa's match. I was watching highlights this afternoon and there it was. They keep switching between channels an d do not tell you. Anyway saw a little of the game. Rafa seemed to be playing well, he has increased the weight of his racket. He won in straight sets.

I agree the worst case scenario is a set dropped, but really he should be prepared to take Harrison to the cleaners by the 7th or 8th games onwards.

"I know he’d like to win the first [Grand Slam title] for British tennis in, what is it, 150,000 years,” Federer joked in a post-match interview. “The poor guy has to go through those moments over and over again.” (Roger Federer)

Now THAT Emma, is what I would refer to as 'mind games' , to the letter in fact.
And this  is what I say to it!

It's a comment by Federer that is about Murray, so it's relevant to this board however admittedly it's not perfectly relevant to this thread.

And this  is what I say to it!
I think it's a fair joke, assuming there is nothing sinister behind it - it is laughable how so much history is being put on one man and he faces it with every Slam. But I suppose it's also quite sad in another light.

Yes but Mark how many years did it take for a Swiss man to win a slam?
Roger must have been the first since the Jurassic period.
But I digress.

Disagree he's a slam winner. No big shots.
I agree bbh, he's just beginning to learn the ropes. America's next Roddick. He has some good shots and will try hard, Andy will have to stay on top of his game but is so much more talented than Ryan.

That was very low of Federer. And it came totally out of nowhere. He could have just put some positive spin on it instead he chose to stoop low. ah well, and yes, mind games indeed.

Okay, so we have a few more hours to go before we see our hero!

I'll be setting the alarm for this match, not just because I am a loyal Murray fan, but I hope to see some serious anger management issues on Mr Harrison's behalf!
