Hi folks do not allow this person to take away your enjoyment of this forum been reading over your comments it would be a shame if you allowed this to happen. I know it can be difficult though. Just a wind up merchant trying to bait you and enjoying the game.

MurrayMagic,
I personally would never go on to a Federer forum and blather on about Andy while being condescending about Federer to his fans.
I'm sure I would be shown the door anyway if I was trashy enough to behave in such a manner.

Exactly! WTFs it all about? It's needle and wind up all the time, done in this so subtle "what have I done" way. It's called passive-aggressive behaviour.
If said person really wanted to discuss tennis in a dispassionate way, there are hundreds of neutral sites where fans of different players post.
Coming onto MW is for one reason only, to annoy.
And people are right, it is beginning to detract from this site.  get out

It's no surprise to me that a Fed fan would turn their nose up at this match.  After all, I remember the charity day at last year's event.  Muzza, Djoko and Roddick were having a right laugh in their match then Rafa and Fed came on and suddenly the humour vanished.  If Fed can't even let his hair down in a charity match then when can he?

A two week slam tournament features plenty of regular matches for the purists.  This leaves room for a little entertaining.  As long as both players are in on the joke, there is no harm done.

Mostly it was instigated by Lodra, the loser.
And the crowd loved it!

Sorry tcbm, I know you were kidding, but I feel I have to educate you on this... My son has Asperger's.. and you will not find a finer, more genuine young man... and a University student to boot.
Please don't tar others with Asperger's with the same brush. hug

I commented on his behaviour as there were some superficial signs of AS (or a number of other conditions) in his interactions with other posters. So it was a joke but I was wondering too.
But his overall character & decisions are his own.
I'm sure your son is wonderful & I apologise for this slight on people with the condition and I know You are correct on this.
I will say that I doubt many Federer fans behave like AK aspergers or no. At least we would have to hope that.
Sorry again

Thanks and no problem.  That poster we were talking about was far too devious to be an Aspie.  They don't have a dishonest bone in their bodies.

Hi All,

Does anyone out there know if the Murray/Llodra match is available on DVD or anything? I loved it, it was fantastic, played in such a lovely spirit, and would love to see it again.

If anyone has any thoughts on where I could get it, or for that matter (I'm sorry, being cheeky now) any of Andy's best matches on DVD, I would love to know.

Not sure on that, but that game at the end of the 2nd set is on youtube. I have it downloaded as well. Has to be the funniest game I've seen in a Murray match, both players in really good spirits.

As for other Andy matches, that Gasquet match from 2008 is available on DVD (Wimbledon classics) but not sure about others.

I've wathed that game so many times mainly because it always appears when I'm browsing Murray videos on youtube!

The thing that impresses me most in that game is Andy retrieving the lob during the 30-15 point. Incredible reactions and speed.

I've got the Murray/Gasquet match. Watching Andy come back like that always cheers me up!

Thanks for the info.
