Sorry Aileen - just amended and thanks NZ time still 1 pm though I will watch my recorded HD coverage when I get home Thanks Bev. I just wanted to make sure I got the match alert right! Yes very nice for us but not for you. I just hope Andy is wide awake and bushy-tailed by then because he often seems to struggle a bit in early matches. Still, it is the best of five ... To stay awake for the match, or not to stay awake, that is the question lol.
I didn't think you ever went to bed, PE?

Nice time for the match. I can watch about an hour of it, but they'll show it on Eurosport so I'll just record the rest.

Lovely i/v with Ross Hutchins this morning on Sky Sunrise. He started chemo yesterday - he's a young fit man so hopefully he will not have the same severe side effects my brother had. He said how supportive Andy has been abd that they talk each day on the 'phone. Just watching Leyton Hewitt v Tipsy - excellent and 6-5 to Hewitt in the first set.

I'm getting nervous over this match Firstly cos its against Haase and American Open 2011 but now I see Andy plays first of his half What was the year when Andy was seeded 13 and was playing Wawrinka as first match in his half and lost most unexpectedly? I shall be very glad when this match tonight , UK time, is over with a win for Andy preferably in 3 straight sets. J

He has never lost to Wawrinka at the Aussie Open. He lost in R1 twice (2006, 2008) once to Chela and once to Tsonga. He lost to Wawrinka in R3 at the US Open (2010), if that's what you're referring to.

Yes Silver lining I stand corrected I meant The Tsonga match One of the many things I like about this site is that there is always someone who knows more than I do Thanks for the info
